DE BEERS FOREVERMARK

OCCASION CREATIVES FOR BRAND PARTNER & CUSTOMER NETWORKS

A global approach to traditional festivals.

As the creative agency for De Beers Forevermark, one of the things we do are the creatives for festive periods. As a global jewellery brand in one of the world’s largest jewellery and luxury markets, its important for the brand to connect across their partner networks and customer bases across regions in the Indian subcontinent during festive seasons through the year.

Keeping it a little modern,
a little traditional.

The creative challenge lies in taking very traditional occasions and translating them to the brand’s global language without losing the warmth and indian-ness
of the festivals.

Creatives for promotional media
during festive periods.

Sometimes we make creatives for paid promotions across social and ecommerce platforms. A single concept is made into multiple creatives that can be used across a longer festival.

Example of Onam, 2022

Keeping up with a very festive calendar.

Our calendar for the brand is filled with close to 24 festivals through the year. While we receive creatives for Diwali, Eid and Christmas from De Beers’ global teams, the remaining festival calendar is ours to
create for.

Products vs the logomark.

We keep a healthy mix between showcasing the products and playing with the brand’s logo mark. The Forevermark icon is as much a product as Forevermark’s natural diamonds. The Forevermark icon is its mark of assurance to customers that their diamonds are rare, beautiful and above all, responsibly sourced.

Thinking out of the box, traditionally.

Our inspirations need to be rooted in tradition. The look needs to be global. Sometimes the thought of innovating for the same festival across 5+ years is daunting. We need to think out of the box. For this example for Baisakhi, we found inspiration in local festive fairs, melas. The ferris wheel symbolised the cyclical nature of seasons and the arrival of the harvest associated with new beginnings.
